Painter,
illustrator, Lonnie Busch, has created artwork for corporations
and institutions across the United States, including the 2002 "Greetings from America"
stamps and the 2004 "Summer Olympics" stamp for the US Postal Service. Busch has completed
two novels and is currently at work on a third. His short stories have appeared or are
forthcoming in such publications as The Baltimore Review, Enigma, Nuthouse Magazine, The
Iconoclast, Nomad, Devil Blossom's and Tickled by Thunder. Recently, his story, "The Fred
Arbogaster," was chosen as one of ten finalists in "The World's Best Short Short Story
Contest" and will appear in the fall edition of The Southeast Review. A native St. Louisan,
Busch now resides in the mountains of western North Carolina with his friend, Nancy Reeder,
storyteller and teacher. |
